Invoke-Tress Dance Theatre held their annual student recital at the Italian Canadian Club in June. The atmosphere was reminiscent of an Arabian tent as Ishra introduced her beautiful, blushing 'ladies', plus guest dancers from other studios. Guided by Ishra's mastery of the form, the sensual movements of the dancers and the exotic costumes, made by the dancers themselves, combined with the middle-eastern fusion music to create an evening of wonder & joy.
