Environmental Sciences Symposium

The university's Rozanski Hall became a hotbed for environmental-minded discussion & debate, one Saturday in January, as the university's Environmental Sciences students hosted their annual symposium. This year's conference, "Towards Climate Positive," focused on helping participants develop an optimistic approach to dealing with climate change by offering regional solutions to global problems. The day-long symposium attracted hundreds of people, including students, academics and members of the community-at-large. It was the hope of symposium organizers that by providing diverse options for positive climate action, the event inspired guests to take action in their own lives.
