2008 March > Chinese New Year Festival
The Chinese New Year Festival, organized by the Guelph Chinese Canadian Cultural Association (GCCCA), was a great success with over 500 people in attendance. It was standing room only in the gym of the First Christian Reformed Church on Water Street for the Lion Dance, Kung-Fu demonstration, traditional Chinese dance & music, and a beautiful fashion show. There were also displays of Chinese calligraphy, craft demonstrations and samplings of Chinese food which were simply delicious!
