2008 March > Ian Smith Retirement Party The Guelph Chamber of Commerce turned out en-masse for a farewell reception for Ian Smith, the Chamber's departing president, at the new Delta Guelph ballroom in February. It seemed that Ian had made a lot of Friends during his nine year stint as president. To honour the man and the work he has done on behalf of so many, there were tributes, a slide show, and a parody complete with a choir of kazoos! Ian will be missed but not forgotten, as he will continue serving on the numerous boards & committees on which he sits.
