2008 May > CIBC Run for the Cure Appreciation Night The launch of the 2008 CIBC Run for the Cure was held at the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites in Guelph's southend. Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Representative, Joanne Fraraccio, spoke on the importance of the run & how the dollars raised are funding a research fellowship here in Guelph. The annual run is a national fundraising event dedicated to supporting breast cancer research through the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation & in the past 4 years, the Guelph Run has raised more than $950,000. This year’s Guelph run will take place on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 9am from St George’s Square. Register on-line at www.cbcf.org
