2008 May > Bowling for Africa Three GoGo Grannies organized a fundraiser called Bowling for Africa in March, raising $3800 for the Stephen Lewis Foundation's work to relieve the suffering caused by HIV/AIDS in Africa. Since January 2007, the 150 local GoGo Grandmothers have raised $54,000 through concerts, auctions, book & craft sales and social gatherings such as this one. The 4G's next meeting will be Monday, May 26, 7:30 pm at Three Willows United Church.
