2008 May > Speed River Tree Planting OPIRG’s Speed River Project organized a day of tree planting in Silvercreek Park in April. It was a chance for friends and neighbours to get involved in an environmental action project that has a lasting effect. Through neighbourhood-based naturalization projects, urban river banks are diversified and rehabilitated one neighbourhood at a time! The next tree planting projects will be at Wolfond Park
Saturday, May 3rd and Riverside Park Saturday, May 10th.
