2008 May > Tom King's Surprise Birthday Party

It was standing room only at Bollywood Bistro, as Tom King's friends & supporters gathered to surprise him on the occasion of his 65th birthday. Tom, an author, professor, Member of the Order of Canada and now federal NDP candidate, was his usual relaxed self as he went round the room greeting each guest personally. Out-of-town guests included playwright Drew Hayden Taylor and actor Graham Greene who commented, "He's as old as his nose, but younger than his teeth!" Congratulations, Tom. Here's to many more!
