National Curling Tournament
In early January, The 18-team National Curling Tournament was contested downtown at the Sleeman Centre. Taking place just six weeks prior to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, and featuring Canada’s very own 2010 Olympic representative, Kevin Martin as well as several other World and Olympic champions, The National is one of the four World Curling Tour (WCT) Majors that make up the Capital One Grand Slam of Curling. A big congratulations is due not only to the competing teams, but also to the Guelph Curling Club (www.guelphcurlingclub.com) made sure this tournament was such a success!
