KidsAbility Skating Party
Near the end of January on a Saturday afternoon, KidsAbility held its annual Skating Party at the Victoria Road Recreation Centre. The free event was open to all individuals in the community with disabilities, and their families as well. A great skate was followed by children's activities in a large reserved party room, and a pizza lunch for everyone. Dozens of families attended the event, and much pizza was consumed by children, parents & friends who had worked up an appetite on the ice. Students from University of Guelph's Family Program helped out all day, providing great volunteer service. For KidsAbility info, visit www.kidsability.ca
