The Edward Johnson Music Foundation held their annual food & wine extravaganza at River Run Centre in January. Guests enjoyed fine regional and international wines and beers, matched with an abundance of gourmet bites provided by Guelph’s top chefs and caterers. A hot salsa band played music from jazz to blues to salsa while the silent and live auctions featured a Caribbean getaway, fine wines and one-of-a-kind fine art and crafts. In addition, an intimate 'Tasting Room' in Cooperators Hall provided fun and informative wine tasting sessions presented by the highly accomplished sommelier, Jacqueline Brisley. All proceeds raised at this well attended evening will support the Do Re Mi music education program in our local schools.
