Hockey Pucks & Pink Hammers
On a Thursday evening in mid-January, the Habitat for Humanity Women Build Event was held at the Sleeman Centre as part of the Guelph Hurricanes / Cambridge Winter Hawks hockey game. The Women Build Event included an auction table featuring signed jerseys and sticks from honorary guests and hockey legends Ray Scapinello & Paul Henderson. Paul & Ray were also on hand for the pre-game ceremonial puck drop. All proceeds from the auction went towards funding the Women Build in 2010.
