Tannis Slimmon Concert
Local singer songwriter Tannis Slimmon had the audience hanging on every note, even singing along with their favourite songs, at her sold out concert sponsored by Borealis Grille & Bar, at River Run in January. Her latest album, ‘Lucky Blue’ won her the Contemporary Vocalist of the Year Award at Canadian Folk Music Awards in 2008. Tannis was joined onstage by the hugely talented Lewis Melville on guitar and vocalist Jude Vadala for an intimate evening of music that won't soon be forgotten.
