Legion donation recipients gather for a group photo

Legion Donation Day

Each year, Guelph's Royal Canadian Legion Branch 234 presents donations raised through their Lottery Trust Fund to many local organizations. This year, recipients included the Guelph Concert Band, Guelph Museums, the Guelph Pipe Band, Lions Foundation of Canada (Guide Dogs), 121 Red Arrows Squadron, 1882 Wellington Rifles, Royal Canadian Sea Cadets 'Ajax' and Navy League of Canada 'Achilles'. In addition, SNAP Guelph and The Wellington Advertiser were both honoured for their support of the Legion and its active participation in the life of our community. More photos on our web site.
