Beth & Murray Parkinson surrounded by their family on the steps of their new "Dream" home
Rotary's Dream Home Winner
Mayor Karen Farbridge drew the winning ticket from the drum for the Rotary Dream Home worth more than $543,000 in front of a record crowd at Riverside Park on Canada Day. The winner, Murray Parkinson of Guelph, was not present at the draw but told us that his “phone line had been burning up” with friends & relatives calling to congratulate him & his wife Beth. Money raised in this year's Dream Home Lottery will go to benefit the Guelph General Hospital's new Medical Education Centre. Complete details on all prizes and winners can be found on the website at www.GuelphDreamHome.com
