Girl Guide 100th Anniversary
For ten days in July, the Girl Guides of Canada celebrated their 100th Anniversary at Guelph Lake Conservation Area with "Guiding Mosaic 2010". The ten-day event was an amazing opportunity for girls and women from across Canada and around the world to come together, explore, learn & make new friends. Girls played an important role in the planning and delivery of all activities at camp, as Guiding Mosaic 2010 focused on what girls wanted to do and learn. Activities included adventure activities, sports, awesome out-trips, exploring Girl Guide history, international guests, major community service projects & an environmental focus on all aspects of the camp.
